I've been using Wakoopa for a long time, it is very useful for tracking personal software usage, discover new apps and other alternatives.
My lastest discovery (sadly anybody told me about this before) is alternativeTo a web service similar to wakoopa and iusethis. This service is mainly for find new alternatives for different kind of software or web services, very handy when you move to another OS and want to find similar soft to feel more confortable with your new Operative System, or just discover alternative to popular or commercial applications.
I've been using boxee for a month already and I really loved it, just need a few tweaks more to make it better, but it's amazing for being beta anyway.
Boxee have integration with IMDb, so when you look at your media library Boxee asks to IMDb for related info about the film/tv serie such as plot or rating. When you are searching on your music trough Boxee it also show you album art.
Boxee has many more features that I will not talk about but I highly recommend you to try it, it's free and multiplatform.
