I been thinking about closing my facebook profile since a long time, it turned to be pointless to use, most of users connected with me (or so called friends) just access facebook to join groups or play games, nothing really social. Besides of the little feedback I had with my real friends, everything else was empty of values.
I don't need to share pictures for people, to like them and raise my ego. I want to share pictures of particular events with friends or colleagues and talk about them.
I don't want to stack up "friends". I want to meet actual people.
It lies, also, in users the responsability of giving a proper explotation of the service (or product) because of this missuse the service is molded, and on this deformed structure is where other users adapt and follow, then, bad social mechanics. Or in short words using Facebook as AdultFider.
This factors (and more) plus well known trust issues with the so called "privacy" are enough motives to quit facebook at the moment.
